Do You Own An ATD?
10My husband coined this phrase last night as we negotiated a flooded trail with Leia and Rocco. My husband attempted to follow the same path Leia and I were taking, a too narrow bridge of mud that managed to rise above the water. Rocco had other ideas. He plowed straight into the pond, oblivious to the fact that it was cold, wet and gross.
Leia chose the trail, then decided the rocks above the pond looked better and began scaling every one in reach.
I was amazed our dogs did so well. My husband just leaned down to pet Rocco and said, “They’re kind of like All-Terrain Vehicles, but they’re dogs. All-Terrain-Dogs.”
Do you have an All-Terrain-Dog? If you do, share with us the particular adventure you think makes the title fit.

All-Terrain-Dog! That’s cute!

Sometimes it amazes me how brilliant my husband can be.

Hey Rocco, Jet here. Love the term… sort of… Here in S. Florida, our area floods rapidly and drains rapidly. JJ and I (and Koko before both of us) LOVE puddles. Mom has a pair of rain boots that everyone made fun of at first and now… well, let’s just say they understand.

It’s not a good splash unless you can get a miniature tsunami over the rim of those boots!

Hey Rocco,
We haven’t had any good mud in ages – but you can bet if we did I’d be all over it – I don’t care!!
Have fun buddy,
Your pal Snoopy

I’ve seen your mud pictures! At least for me it’s just a quick rinse in the sink!

I think that the two dogs that live here would be ATD. We have a pond and they love to go flying into the pond or at least the Border collie does. The older dog doesn’t like it as much. Great picture. Thanks for visiting our blog. Take care and have a great day.

You too!

Your dogs especially! They’ve had quite a few adventures over the years haven’t they?
